Principle Responsibilities: Property Management, Building Operations, Capital Improvements, Contract Administration and Client Relations
William C. Tucker brings over 20 years experience in management, operations, leasing and construction oversight to Means Knaus Partners. As Senior Vice President of Property Management, Mr. Tucker is responsible for the day-to-day operations and onsite management for all commercial real estate properties in the Houston portfolio. Mr. Tucker’s duties also include directing capital improvements, facilitating the administration of vendor contracts and ensuring legal compliance of properties.
Before joining Means Knaus Partners Mr. Tucker served as Director of Asset Services for CB Richard Ellis in Los Angeles, California. His responsibilities included the management of a 6,000,000 square foot portfolio of commercial (office, retail, industrial and medical) real estate in Southern California. In addition Mr. Tucker was responsible for the supervision of all property managers, staff development, client reporting, capital improvements, construction management and client relations.
Mr. Tucker also served as a Senior Property Manager with Kennedy Wilson Properties in Los Angeles, California. In this position he had direct responsibility for the management of a new start-up 533,000 square-foot Class A office building in Glendale California and a new 600,000 square-foot high tech office project in Valencia, California. Additional responsibilities included the development of annual operating budgets, income and expense detail, occupancy projections, monthly / quarterly financial reporting and income / expense variance notes for presentation to institutional owners.
Prior to Kennedy Wilson Properties, Mr. Tucker served as a Senior Property / Leasing Manager for Heitman Properties Ltd, in Beverly Hills, California. In this position he was responsible for the management of a 600,000 square-foot portfolio of office properties and the marketing / leasing of an additional 300,000 square feet. While with Heitman, Mr. Tucker also served as a Property Manager for a 400,000 square-foot office complex undergoing an asbestos abatement program, which also included the installation of fire sprinklers, a fire life safety system retrofit and a complete interior rehab. In addition, Mr. Tucker participated in the acquisition and disposition process of numerous properties.
Mr. Tucker attended the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, holds a Texas Salesperson license and is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, BOMA
