Harvey Camins’ unique perspective and expertise has benefited owners, investors and tenants across a diverse range of office and industrial properties for several decades.
Mr. Camins was a founder of Camins Tomasz Kritt, an industrial and office brokerage firm within the dynamic Chicago market. He was also a founding partner of Frain Camins and Swartchild (FC&S), which began operations in 1978. While leading FC&S, he launched the company’s property management division, which eventually grew to oversee 13 million square feet of suburban and CBD office buildings, industrial and retail properties. Upon the company’s sale to Insignia/ESG, Mr. Camins served as regional president from 1997 to 1999 and as executive managing director from 1999 to 2001.
Mr. Camins has earned numerous awards for organizational and transaction excellence from ONCOR International, as well as distinguished service awards from the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and the Association of Industrial and Real Estate Brokers (AIREB). He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and past president of several organizations, including the Chicago chapter of BOMA, COLBA and AIREB. Mr. Camins also proudly serves as Member of the Executive Committee of the Board for both the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago and the Chicago Council of Boy Scouts.
