A 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Hal Flowers brings a wealth of experience to his role as managing director east division.
Mr. Flowers was a founder of Everest Partners, LLC, a full-service commercial development company operating in Florida and Georgia. Before forming Everest Partners in 1999, Mr. Flowers served as senior managing director with Insignia/ESG. Here he was responsible for overseeing seven million square feet of commercial property in the company’s Southeast region.
Mr. Flowers was partner since 1973 with Paragon Group, a national real estate firm and predecessor to Insignia/ESG. Paragon Group, working independently and with many of the nations foremost institutional investors, developed, acquired, disposed of and managed over 20,000 apartment units and 25 million square feet of commercial, retail and mixed-use space with a combined asset value in excess of $3 billion. Mr. Flowers had the responsibility of oversight of Paragon’s commercial portfolio in the eastern United States including Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Kentucky, and the greater St. Louis Area. Significant project experience includes two 42-story buildings in downtown Tampa (Bank of America Plaza and 100 N. Tampa) as well as the 42-story Bank of America Center office tower in Downtown Jacksonville.
Mr. Flowers holds the Real Estate Property Administrator (RPA) designation, is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has served as President of the Tampa chapter of BOMA. He has served as Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Tampa Museum of Art, and as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. He has also proudly served on other civic and cultural boards as a governmental appointee. Mr. Flowers earned a BBA degree from Georgia State University.
