MKP Soldier Fund a Big Success
Houston, January 10, 2011 –Means Knaus Partners’ Houston office is proud to report that the first year of our MKP Soldier Fund program was a success. Thanks to the generous contributions of our tenants and employees, we were able to unite 13 soldiers with their families during the Christmas holidays. We have already received several “thank you” notes from the soldiers expressing their appreciation and gratitude for the opportunity to spend Christmas with their families.
In addition, we would also like to thank Mike Stanton and his staff of Stanton & Company in New York for providing the artwork for our letterhead and Perri Seamands, Family Readiness Support Assistant of Fort Hood who identified and coordinated the flight schedules of individual soldiers.
We are already working on ways to facilitate donations for 2011 and we hope to be able to increase the contributions and number of soldiers we are able to assist. Thanks again to each of you for your participation in making this first year a big success.
