Means Knaus Gets Cooking At The Denver Rescue Mission
Denver, September 18, 2009 – Nine Means Knaus team members recently spent a day at the Denver Rescue Mission preparing meals and bolstering the spirits of individuals and families in need.
Led by Property Manager Jodi Prentice, the team arrived at the Mission before lunch and were immediately put to work chopping and prepping for noontime service. About 250 people — young, old and entire families — received a comforting meal seasoned with camaraderie. For many, it may have been their only meal of the day, or the best meal they had eaten in quite some time.
“This was a new and humbling experience for many on our team,” says Prentice. “We were happy to do our part for the community and are ready to do it again soon.”
In keeping with Prentice’s sentiments, the Means Knaus property management team at Park Central plans to regularly offer voluntary and monetary support to the Denver Rescue Mission.
Congratulations to the entire Means Knaus team who took part — and keep up the good work! |
